EVEREST INFRASTRUCTURE LOBBY RENOVATION

ABOUT THE PROJECT

For this exciting commercial project, we focused on creating a cool and comfortable lobby space for Everest Infrastructure Partners, a growing company that invests in wireless infrastructure across the world.   Everest came to us requesting finishes for the lobby of their newly renovated space in NOVA Place in the North Side of Pittsburgh.  After visiting the office space and assessing the existing design and architectural elements of the space, we conceptualized a resimercial design (residential + commercial) that prioritized comfortable and flexible work and meeting spaces.  Further, we collaborated with WorkScape Inc. to select a combination of industrial and mid-century finishes which gives the space a welcoming and updated look.  The layout prioritizes comfortable meeting spaces for this highly collaborative company where individuals, pairs, or small groups can break from their personal work spaces for meetings, meals, and even social time.

Of course, the piece de resistance is the incredible 300 square foot mural hand painted by the super talented Nicole Linkowski.  The mural was inspired by one of Everest’s most beautiful tower sites, at the foothills of Mt. Shasta outside of Redding, California.  We worked with Nicole to pin down the color palette and the overall look of the piece, but the rest was all her!  This mural elevated the entire design and further serves as a daily reminder of the team’s mission.

This new space is just what Everest needed to become a more welcoming homebase in their hometown of Pittsburgh for their over 40 local employees and a destination for their global workforce visiting from other locations including Boston, Australia, and Portugal.
